During my time leading Talent Acquisition at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), my team and I frequently encountered challenges in sourcing skilled professionals for the industry’s highly specialized roles. Although we could post positions on GIA’s Career Center and work with a few field-specific recruiters, filling these unique positions required a deep understanding of industry standards and specialized skill sets. Traditional job boards didn’t cater to our needs, making it difficult to attract candidates who were truly suited for the roles.

As we launched The CAZA Collective, we heard similar feedback from clients facing the same obstacles. This recurring challenge made it clear that a dedicated career platform was needed—one that understands the intricate hiring demands of the diamond, gem, and jewelry industry.

This realization led to the creation of CAZA Connect: a focused platform where industry professionals and employers can connect directly.
